Bus Depot Operations Manager
Purpose
• To plan, implement and manage the Bus Depot Operations and Services
• To be involved in the Bus Depot Operations Planning process as of the earliest phases of planning
Key accountabilities
• Reporting to the Bus Depot Manager, the Bus Depot Operations Manager is responsible for planning and delivering efficient, effective, timely services to the Bus Depot and the T-A and T-All Client Transport systems at the Baku 2015, European Games.
• He will develop the Bus Depot Operations Plan, oversee the execution of Bus Depot Operations, focusing at the services to be provided to all Buses and other Vehicles that will be accommodated within the Bus Depot at Games time
• Responsible for scoping the Bus Depot needs and services including the development and implementation of Policies and Procedures, Staff orientation and Training.
• Responsible along with the Bus Depot Support Operations Manager for the commissioning and decommissioning of the Bus Depot
• Accountable along with the Bus Depot Support Operations Manager for the Bus commissioning and decommissioning ensuring they are received, inventoried, distributed and returned
• Ensures the smooth and efficient overall Transport oriented Operations of the Bus Depot in the in the absence of the Bus Depot Manger.
• Games time role will be to oversee all services to be offered to Buses (Maintenance, Refuelling, Exterior, Interior Bus Cleaning)
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• 5+ year experience in Transport or Travel Industry, or similar position, in previous Games of equal or higher scale and intensity as Baku 2015 European Games
• Graduate level education
• Computer aided skills Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Fluent in English language
