We are looking for experienced professional to fill the position of Arts Project Assistant.

The Arts Project Assistant duties are:

• Delivery of project outputs: proactively provide information about theatre projects to target groups; coordinate theatre festival planned for 2014-2015; help collect and compile evaluation data; provide administrative and logistical support.
• Financial control: provide accurate and appropriate financial information to the Arts Programmes Manager; raise and goods release POs.
• Team-working and knowledge-sharing: support the development of a project team; communicate fully and in a timely fashion with project team colleagues; provide administrative support to the Arts Manager.     
• Marketing and Communications: support the marketing and communications strategy for projects and activities; manage British Council Azerbaijan ART webpage updates; conduct workshops and training for Azerbaijani art specialists.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Azerbaijani, Russian conversational is must, and will offer skills and experience to match the job profile for this post, enclosed in the application pack. Successful applicants will need to be able to travel within Azerbaijan and other countries on business and to attend evening and weekend events.

Benefits:

Post will benefit from a six month’s fixed-time contract which may be extended, a medical insurance package, and annual defined leave allowance.  Post will be appointed at British Council Grade J and starting annual salary will be AZN 10,717.92 p.a. paid monthly. Successful candidate will need to start work with us as soon as possible. Working schedule is flexible and negotiated upon recruitment
