Architect Specialist

Key accountabilities 

• Communication with Functional Groups and Departments and integration of their requirements into venue plans
• Guide the production of  Concept Design Drawings for venues
• Guide the development of Detailed Design Drawings suitable for tender and procurement of the Games Overlay
• Development of Operational drawings as required to support the Organizing Committee
• Guide the development of Scope and Specification documents to support the Games Overlay Procurement Process
• Coordinate the  Broadcasting/Utilities and Transportation integration team in all design related issues
•  Liaison with Venue Owners/Operators
• On-Site supervision of Games Overlay contractors

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• Degree in Architecture or Urban Design
• Experience in venue design ideally for large scale sporting events. Knowledge of multi-sport events  operations and sport specific requirements
• Ability to communicate design instructions graphically and verbally
• CAD proficiency. Adobe Suite proficiency
