Job Title: Overlay Architect - Cluster Lead

Key accountabilities:

• Lead the team of designers that will deliver the venues
• Lead the design process acting as the link between BEGOC and the teams delivering  competition and non-competition venues
• Create, develop and maintain BEGOC venues design brief and coordinate changes with BEGOC functional areas
• Ensure that BEGOC requirements are communicated to venue owners/builders and guide their design to make it both legacy efficient and suitable for the Games
• Ensure milestones are met and resource the team accordingly
• Manage BEGOC’s Design Consultants
• Liaise with Broadcasting/Utilities and Transportation integration team in all design related issues
• Ensure project changes and risks are communicated to the relevant change management and risk management team

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:

• Degree in Architecture
• Extensive experience in venue design for large scale sporting events and excellent  knowledge of multi-sport events  operations and sport specific requirements
• Ability to lead a team of designers
• Ability to assess at a high level cost impact on design modifications
• CAD proficiency. Adobe Suite proficiency
