Internal IT Specialist
Main Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from Computer Engineering,
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a global environment,
• Hands-on experience in System Management, Network, Active Directory and Exchange Managements,
• Intensive knowledge of Network Cisco and Microsoft platforms (having Microsoft System Administration certificates or CCNA )
• Good knowledge of IBM,HP hardware server and storage,
• Having preferably network and security certificates,
• Exhibits good communication skills and can work effectively at all levels, both internally and externally,
• Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical thinking skills
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, English,
• Ability to travel abroad
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
• Responsible for the operation of a 7/24 internal IT system.
• Responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs.
• Manages secure server services; hardware, operating systems and databases.
• Supports Network Specialist maintaining LAN and WAN availability and security
• Supports Microsoft platform (Active directory / Exchange )
• Manages end user PC environment and provide support services
• Manages new installations and updates effectively and on time.
• Controls continuously hardware, software and network equipment, reports any failures and takes corrective actions
• Makes necessary planning, corresponding and documentation for IT Systems.
• Plans and manages upgrade planning, installation and operations when necessary.
• Updates and changes the documents and policies
• Follows upcoming technologies and offers suitable solutions to be implemented.
• Manages implementation of accepted solutions/projects.
• Supports Department Manager in preparing annual departmental budget
