Venue Design & Delivery, Document Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities 

• The Document Control Specialist is responsible for storage and tracking of VDD’s documentation, which includes coordination with the different BEGOC functions and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for coordinating with different departments within VDD and ensuring those documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all VDD and BEGOC functions while ensuring that relevant versions of applicable documents are available at their points of use.
• Responsible for checking documents before they are filed and liaising with internal and external parties to ensure that documents contain correct and understandable information regards their categorisation while ensuring changes and revisions are clearly identified.
• Responsible to ensuring those documents remain legible and identifiable while securing that external supplied documents are identified, controlled, and distributed when necessary.
• Contributes to team discussions on business issues and keeps team and leadership informed on progress and issues.
• Conducts fact finding and analysis in a thorough, pragmatic, accurate and organised manner to enhance quality of project delivery.
• Represents information and data candidly, accurately and completely.
• Demonstrates a risk management mind set in application of the role and assigned responsibilities and escalates issues through project team.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required 

• 3+ years of experience in document management in construction industry.
• Good organisational & project management skills.
• CAD basic user.
• Proficient in Azerbaijani and English.
• PC literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Applications; with the ability to produce documents to a high standard of presentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organised and capable to meet deadlines.
