Telecoms Project Manager

Key accountabilities 

• Telecommunications Services work planning: lead planning activity for the Telecommunications Services, ensure accurate definition of scope for team, support the ‘Head Of’ in management activities across the team.
• Project Management tool use: champion the use of Teamwork PM across the Telecommunications Services and provide accurate and timely information using the tool to technology management
• Reporting: ensure consistent weekly reporting of progress against key dates and milestones, decisions and plans for the following week – with escalation as required.
• Risk and issue management: undertake daily risk/issue identification, response planning and resolution, articulate and escalate as required.
• Project communications: support, and where required lead, the dissemination of project communications across Telecommunications Services team, represent Telecommunications Services at Project Managers meeting.
• Cross-functional projects: play a leading role in the management of projects for the purpose of cross-functional collaboration, integration or complex problem solving.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required 

• 7+ years a track record of successful project management and delivery of a wide range of complex projects at a senior level.
• Project Management certification from a recognised institution (e.g. PMI or PRINCE2).
• Familiarity with sports, entertainment and hospitality industry concepts.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international team environment.
• Ability to accept a significant level of responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to quickly understand complex problems and devise effective solutions.
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Excellent communication skills including both written and verbal English and ideally Russian or Azeri.
