Architect Specialist
Key Responsibilities
• Communication with Baku2015 Functional Groups and Departments and integration of their requirements into venue plans.
• Guide the production of Concept Design Drawings for venues.
• Guide the development of Detailed Design Drawings suitable for tender and procurement of the Games Overlay.
• Development of Operational drawings as required supporting the Organizing Committee.
• Guide the development of Scope and Specification documents to support the Games Overlay Procurement Process.
• Coordinate the Broadcasting/Utilities and Transportation integration team in all design related issues.
• Liaison with Venue Owners/Operators.
• On-Site supervision of Games Overlay contractors.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• 3+ years of experience in the required field.
• Degree in Architecture or Urban Design
• Experience in venue design ideally for large scale sporting events. Knowledge of multi-sport events operations and sport specific requirements
• Ability to communicate design instructions graphically and verbally
• CAD proficiency. Adobe Suite proficiency
• Able to communicate and escalate issues
• Flexibility and team player
• Adaptive to change
• Committed
• Focused on delivery but able to plan
