We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for Procurement and Sales. The ideal candidate will leverage their mechanical engineering expertise to support both technical and commercial functions within our organization. This multifaceted role requires a blend of technical acumen, hands-on experience with equipment, and a keen interest in procurement and sales processes. Meaning that individual must poses with strong communication skills, fluently speak and write in English and Azerbaijan languages.

Preference goes for a true hard-working individual, who are willing to constantly learn and develop in order to succeed in this high paced, dynamic and extremely competitive world. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure goods and services, such as: Oil and Gas Equipment, Oil and Gas Consumables, Electrical Engineering Equipment and Mechanical Equipment including motorized parts.
• Technical Support in Procurement: Collaborate with the procurement team to source and evaluate mechanical equipment and components. Provide technical insights and recommendations to ensure that procured items meet quality, performance, and cost requirements.
• Sales Support: Leverage your mechanical engineering knowledge to support sales activities, including technical consultations with clients. Assist the sales team in understanding and communicating the technical aspects of our products, helping to match client needs with the right solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and manage suppliers and service providers relationships:  

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Negotiate terms, ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services, and collaborate to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

• Client Consultations: Engage directly with clients to provide technical guidance, answer product-related questions, and resolve any concerns. Serve as a technical expert, bridging the gap between engineering and sales.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of equipment tests, inspections, and procurement processes.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal use and client reference. Track and analyze procurement data and prepare daily reports

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering field.
• Technical Experience: Hands-on experience with equipment testing, inspections, and troubleshooting is essential. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in mechanical engineering. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, AutoDesk, Fusion 360.
• Procurement Knowledge: Experience or strong interest in procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting mechanical equipment and components, according to the latest standards and engineering practices.
• Sales Acumen: A keen interest in sales and client interactions, with the ability to communicate with client the complex technical information in a very clear and concise manner, maintaining high professional level.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to analyze technical data and make informed decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Language Skills: English and Azerbaijan languages.

Additional languages such as Russian, Spanish, Turkish and German are a big leverage for increased wages and chances of securing the job.
