Job Title Finance Controller

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of statutory accounts
• Filing of tax returns and tax compliance function
• Payroll and payroll reports filings
• Monthly preparation of US GAAP reporting package and calculation of US GAAP tax expense
• Monthly review and analysis of month financial results, discussions with management
• Assist in the Treasury function
• Supervise the Finance department
• Preparation of annual Budgets and Business Plans
• To ensure internal controls within the accounting function are documented, maintained and tested to a level that meets SOX requirements.  To ensure that the necessary controls are in place as required achieving SOX compliance
• Aim to constantly improve the efficiency/effectiveness of the accounts department (management, costing and finance)
• Participate in annual planning activities
• Ad Hoc Duties as required

Quality Assurance

• To carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and departmental works instructions
• To contribute to general improvements in the quality of key activities within the department.

Training

• To actively participate in the training of personnel, recommend training needs to the Human Resource Department and to evaluate the effectiveness of all completed training.

Health, Safety and Environment

• To be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to the QA/Safety Manager.
