Business support applications group

The business support applications group is one of the main teams of Information Communication Technologies department. The team members are responsible for developing various software, applications, SMS services, etc.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Support applications programmer will contribute to the success of the team by delivering high-quality software in a timely fashion. The main responsibilities will be:

• Algorithm creation, coding, testing, debugging, specification creating
• Performing quality assurance, documentation  and functional testing
• Documenting the application and developing User Guides

Required Skills and Experience

• University education in technical majors (Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering and related majors)
• Knowledge of database concepts, knowledge of SQL (Oracle SQL and PL/SQL is preferred)
• Java programming expertise
• Java web programming(Servlet, JSP, etc) and web service programming(JAX-WS, JAX-RS) experience is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Core Programming
• Language skills:
o Azerbaijani or Russian – fluent;
o English – upper-intermediate
