Brand Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of their designated brand’s portfolio of products in order to effectively execute marketing programs to achieve brand objectives. The candiate will be the main marketing contact for assigned brand(s) and will interact with all departments of the company including Product Development, Sales, Operational and Finance.  Candidates must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and be able to quickly adapt to a dynamic market environment.  The ideal candidate will have experience interfacing with both internal and external customers. He/ she will be primarily responsible for the work on the ongoing development of the brand strategy and creating a new brand identity. This position focuses on creating, and protection the brand, strategy and architecture across the business in support of wider business ambitions and goals.

Responsibilities
 
• Managing the annual brand marketing activity plans
• Driving a step change approach to gaining greater value from the brand
• Definition of the brand strategy
• Management of the execution of the brand strategy
• Development and roll out of an enduring brand position
• Work within Business Development team to drive consistent brand messaging across the company.
• Drive updates and edits to the brand guidelines as needed to meet the needs of a growing company.
• Work closely with the digital media to drive the company's digital brand strategy,
• Define media strategy and work closely with mass media.
• Assist on research projects.
• Collaborate with regional sales and field marketing to define marketing strategies that are relevant and powerful on the regional level.
• Influence prioritization of resource allocation for local and international programs.
• Manage and drive new processes and global execution of marketing concepts and campaigns.
• Consolidate marketing and sales best practices by region to identify and leverage opportunities for future execution.
• Package current campaigns into "kits" that regions can use to drive campaigns.

Qualifications
 
• Advanced degree is preferred
• Senior strategic experience in brand marketing, sponsorships and partnerships is preferred
• The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders effectively
• Experience of managing brands and a detailed understanding of creating differentiation through customer led brand propositions.
• Detailed understanding of integrated marketing communications and sponsorship activities.
• Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen
• A full understanding of P&L
• Strong people management
• Good command of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
