Assist senior administrators with configuring, implementing, and maintaining business applications/reporting systems in test and production environments at the application server and database levels; learn basic configuration tasks.
Monitor application availability and performance; identify potential issues and escalate them to senior team members.
Support the management of application changes in test/production environments by following established change management processes; understand the change management process and contribute where possible.
Assist with setting up and maintaining administrative and service accounts under the guidance of senior administrators.
Work alongside developers and vendors to observe troubleshooting techniques and document problems under senior guidance.
Stay informed about planned changes, upgrades, and new services; communicate them internally as directed by the senior team.
Provide basic Level 2 support; escalate complex issues to senior administrators.
Contribute to maintaining system documentation by updating existing documents and instructions under supervision.
Develop knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes through training and observation.
Maintain data confidentiality as per company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, and/or Engineering is an advantage.
Any experience in maintaining application portfolio related to the banking/financial sector is an advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft and other industry technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell is an advantage.
Knowledge of any scripting language is an advantage.
Knowledge of basic database technologies, including database tables, views, procedures, packages, SQL commands, and others in Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
