Job Title Project Scheduler

Key responsibilities and accountabilities 

• Work collaboratively with Functions and Venue Teams to provide them with day-to-day scoping, work planning and scheduling support
• Support the Functions and Venue Teams to adopt a common approach and standards to schedule management across the organising committee
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of milestones and other central schedule information (such as a master schedule)
• Coordinate the consistent reporting of schedule progress versus plan with appropriate escalation where required
• Support the integrated planning processes and any forums that require schedules to be produced and maintained
• Support the integrated planning processes and
• Identify schedule and resource conflicts and facilitate the trade off decisions between the priorities of different projects

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required 

• Experience in project management methods, techniques and information systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Project Management certification from a recognised institution (e.g. PMI or PRINCE2)
• Familiarity with sports, entertainment and hospitality industry concepts
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop solutions
• Flexible, resilient and positive through organizational growth and change
• Ability to work in a Project Management Office team environment
