Introduction:

SOCAR Gas Operating Company is a subsidiary of State Oil Company or the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
SOCAR Gas Operating Company will operate an entity selling gas from Shah Deniz field on behalf of its partners.
SOCAR Gas Operating Company is looking for talented and committed professionals for this position. 

Accountant

Key accountabilities:

• Daily accounting tasks
• Revenue, expenses, inventory and fixed assets accounting
• Assistance in preparation of monthly reports
• Statutory reporting (including VAT, withholding tax and employees related)

Required skills/experience

• Have minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• University Degree in Economics or similar field
• Experience with statutory tax and other reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS and SAP system is an advantage
• Experience in oil and gas industry is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani (knowledge of English is an advantage)

• Ability to work both individually and in a team
• Ability to handle short deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• High integrity
