Introduction:

SOCAR Gas Operating Company is a subsidiary of State Oil Company or the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
SOCAR Gas Operating Company will operate an entity selling gas from Shah Deniz field on behalf of its partners.
SOCAR Gas Operating Company is looking for talented and committed professionals for this position.

Finance Manager

Key accountabilities:

• Development of ERP system, including development of internal control processes and procedures
• Management and financial reporting
• Target setting, budget and business plan preparation
• Treasury function
• Dealing with different commercial and financial issues, including liaison with internal and external auditors and tax authorities

Required skills/experience

• Have minimum 5 years of relevant work and managerial experience
• University Degree in Economics or similar field
• Experience in ERP systems development
• Experience in oil and gas industry is an advantage
• International accounting qualification is an advantage (ACCA, CIMA or similar)
• Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English

Personal qualities:

• Ability to work both individually and in a team
• Ability to handle short deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication, presentation and managerial skills
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• High integrity
