Accommodation in Gusar region
Transportation to and from work place will be provided based on daily schedules
Meals Provided according to Hotel policy

Duties
  
• To establish,conduct and co-ordinate the Departmental meetings and briefings.
• To be responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of the housekeeping attendants by making sure that all services offered in the Housekeeping department are always available and are carried out with the utmost efficiency and courtesy.
• To continuously study and evaluate the operation of the housekeeping department and suggest improvements to the Executive Housekeeper.
• To assign duties and responsibilities to subordinates supervising the housekeeping department.
• To check the linen room and pantry areas. To ensure the smooth flow of the guest supplies,cleaning supplies,uniform and linen.
• To maintain a record of cleaning schedule,i.e. window cleaning, carpet shampooing, marble waxing, brass polishing, drapery cleaning,mattress turning, bedspread cleaning,duvet cleaning and general room cleaning.
• To follow up on all out-of-order rooms.
• To ensure proper arrangements and maintenance of flowers and plants in the guest room and public areas.
• To distribute and control the use of master keys.
• To conduct inspections of corridors,service areas,pantries,staircases and public areas to ensure proper cleaning.
• To constantly strive to please all guests that he or she may come in contact during work hours.
• To liaise with front office on anticipated guests check-ins and check-outs,room assignments,rooming lists,VIPs and returning guests.To ensure that all VIP rooms are inspected thoroughly upon arrival.
• To ensure that all equipment is well maintained and handled correctly.
• To handle guest complaints and to report them all to the Executive  Housekeeper.
• To assist the Executive Housekeeper with the departmental and FF&E budget preparations.
• To be responsible, with the Executive Housekeeper, for ordering cleaning supplies,printing&stationery, and to ensure their correct handling and storing.
• To assist the Executive Housekeeper with the inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, printing and stationery, linen and uniforms.
• To assist subordinates during peak periods.
• To have records available weekly and monthly on consumption inventories and expenses.
• To control and ensure the implementation of all established policies and procedures.
• To revise with the Executive housekeeper the Policy and Procedures whenever necessary.
• To ensure that hoeing, fertilizing, pruning, irrigation, weeding and treatment activities are well conducted by gardening company.

EMPLOYEE  HANDLING

• To ensure that all employees report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniforms at all times.
• To assist in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development.
• To ensure that all employees provide a cautions and professional service at all times.
• To train the employees,ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform duties with the maximum efficiency.
• To supervise the employees within the departments ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
• To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Departmental Hotel’s policies relating to fire, hygiene health and safety.
• To see that all areas of responsibilities are properly staffed, supervised and operating smoothly.
• To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere of the hotel’s employees rules and regulations.

ADMINISTRATION

• To prepare the weekly schedule and the vacation plan, fully checked by the Executive Housekeeper.
• To control and monitor ordertakers calls and records.
• To follow up on all work orders issued.
• To keep all administration records updated at all times.
To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

JOB PROFILE: 
  
• EDUCATION : High School Graduate, Hotel Diploma/Degree
  
1. EXPERIENCE : 3 to 5 years experience in a Housekeeping management position, preferably in a 5 star hotel.
