Position summary:

• This is a full time job. A Dance&music teacher is responsible for preparation of lesson plans for differet age groups, leading different activities, taking care of children.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum that integrates dance and music education for children aged toddler to six years.
• Create age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on building fundamental skills in both dance and music.
• Keep all music supplies and materials up to date;
• Design and choreograph dance pieces suitable for preschool-aged pupils.
• Demonstrate dance moves and techniques, providing clear instructions for pupils to follow;
• Guide students in performing safe and age-appropriate warm-up exercises;
• Insuring the health, safety, and welfare of all students;
• Provide feedback to parents on a child’s progress;
• Work within a team plan and coordinate work;
• Liaise with colleagues, build good working relations and work with flexibility;
• Cover preschool and other instructors’ classes or assist them if required;
• Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where pupils feel encouraged to express themselves through dance;
• Ensure the classroom is always neat and tidy;

Job Profile:

Requirements:

• Previous experience in teaching dance to preschool students is highly desirable.

Personal qualities:

• Ability to work in a team
• Strong communication, research and writing skills.
• Creativity
• Time management

Education:

• Higher education in the field of pedagogy is preferable Language skills
• Fluency in English.
