Requirements:

We require software engineers who can primarily demonstrate talent and aptitude, with a deep passion for coding and building high-quality software.  Generally, tasks will involve varying levels of performance and resource optimization, and often close involvement with DevOps (cloud setup/configurations, testing, deployments).

• Minimum of 2 years production or proven open-source experience.
• Significant experience in Javascript / TypeScript and React.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Good understanding of Package Management (NPM/Yarn/JLPM)
• Working knowledge of Git Fundamentals
• Proficient English (Reading/Writing/Speaking).
• Ability to learn fast and grasp complex topics and structures.

Beneficial:

These attributes are highly beneficial but not mandatory.  Candidates will be expected to quickly learn and master any gaps in understanding:

• Data Science / data analytics / data engineering experience.
• Degree in STEM or Economics/Finance (BSc. /MSc. /PhD).
• Understanding of software architecture and design principles (DRY & SOLID).
• A good understanding asynchronous / multi-process / multi-threaded coding.
• React / NextJS.
• Understanding of JupyterLab development and IPyWidgets / IpyKernel.
• Storybook / Zeplin / AntD / TailWind / SASS / LESS.
• Linux and bash scripting.
• Experience with DevSecOps (OWASP, AWS, Azure, Docker, CI/CD, GitHub).
