Requirements:

We are in search of software engineers who primarily exhibit skill and potential, coupled with a profound enthusiasm for coding and crafting top-tier software. Typically, responsibilities will include diverse degrees of performance and resource optimization, frequently entailing close collaboration with DevSecOps. The ideal applicant will be driven to assume complete responsibility for projects and tasks, ensuring their thorough completion.

• 3 years production or open source project experience.
• Production experience with Python, Pandas, Numpy, Conda, and ideally Poetry.
• IELTS English - level 6 and above, or equivalent ability
• Soft skills – flexible problem solving, self motivation, good team skills and communication, conscientious, tenacious attitude to take projects to 100% completion.
• Collaborative and team orientated mindset.
• Ability to learn fast and grasp complex topics and structures.

Beneficial:

These attributes are highly beneficial but not mandatory.  Candidates will be expected to quickly learn and master any gaps in understanding:

• Understanding of software architecture and design principles (DRY & SOLID)
• A good understanding of asynchronous / multi-process / multi-threaded coding
• Degree in STEM or Economics/Finance (BSc. /MSc. /PhD)
• Data Science and Data Engineering experience
• Understanding of IPyWidgets / IPyKernel
• Linux and bash scripting
• Basic understanding of TypeScript/Javascript & React
