Main Duties:

  • To assist in maintaining complete and supported accounting records of the company as per Policies & Procedures.
  • To maintain the database, and financial records.
  • To add transactions to the ERP system in a trial balance.
  • Collect and Analyze financial information 
  • To assist in releasing bank transactions.
  • To assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Improve financial operations.
  • Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans
  • Design and review fiscal policies
  • To prepare and to interpret the accounting statements and reports with customers and suppliers.
  • To bring to the attention of the Finance Manager of any deficiency in the system, reports indicating trend of balances, accounts requiring special attention and etc.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance ( international certification is an advantage); 
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, proficiency in English, any additional language is preferable;
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing);
  • Proficiency in MS Excel;
  • Strong understanding of management P&Ls and profitability drivers, ability to perform financial statement analysis;
  • Reading and interpreting accounting data such as balance sheet, income statement, trial balance;
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Team working ability, accepting advice from managers
