Role profile:
The real estate and restaurant chain of Port Baku Walk is looking for a Finance Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Finance managers are expected to be detail-oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, and an investigative nature.
To ensure success, finance managers should have a deep commercial awareness, strong numeracy skills, and a keen interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of an organization.
Key accountabilities:
- Participates in development and manage financial modeling and reporting tools for various functional areas;
- Compares and analyzes financial and other operating results against established plans and targets;
- Communicates results via presentations to the executive team;
- Supports the company annual operating plan process by developing and maintaining financial models and tools;
- Works with Operations and other functional departments to prepare budget and forecasts, evaluates and reports on actual versus projected performance, and identifies risk and opportunities to assist in driving results;
- Builds, maintains and distributes dashboards to assist with tracking and reporting of key performance indicators;
- Reviews trends and exception reports to identify and communicate opportunities to various functional areas;
- Deals with Tax authorities, makes sure all works compliant with Tax requirements and send Tax reports as required by authorities;
- Prepares financial statements as Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow statement on timely basis, work with ERP systems.
Required skills/experience:
- Higher education (preferable MBA) in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in finance, 3+ years in senior position
- Experience in the Big Four audit firms will be preferred.
- Theoretical knowledge of generally accepted principles and rules of accounting, international financial management and economic principles;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Good knowledge of Tax Code of Azerbaijan Republic is big advantage
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence / data visualization tools or data cubes
- Must have experience with accounting/financial software and databases/ERP systems(participation in implementation is advantage)
- Professional Accountant certificate is mandatory
- Professional certification is preferable (ACCA, CIMA, CFA , etc.)
- Native Azerbaijani language is must, advanced English and Russian languages are advantages
