Community Manager for Procter & Gamble Brands

Background:  

This is your chance to be a pioneer and work in a role that has truly been created by the 21st century. As a Community Manager, your daily work will be primarily focused on engaging people (both reactive and proactive) via Social Media channels such as Facebook, Youtube, Blogs and Forums. You will work for P&G brands via contract with agency.

We are recruiting for 1 position covering most of our brands. You will be the online face and voice of our brands.  You are used to juggling family, home and work-life and can always be relied on for help and advice.  At the same time you are fun loving and you don’t take life too seriously!  You love to talk about your family and your home, and you’re proud of what you have achieved.

You will proactively engage with consumers and influencers, as well as providing help & sharing your expertise. You will also be able to spot potential future issues and resolve existing problems. You will work with both internal (Brand, ER) and external partners such as PR Agencies, developing a two-way relationship. Content will be guided by a conversation calendar developed by Brand PR/Agency and your own input.   There is opportunity and need within this role to attend external events & training courses, therefore you should be flexible and willing to travel occasionally.

Important Responsibilities:  

1. It’s all about engagement:  Be Responsive: Using conversation calendar content and pre-approved knowledge, seek out conversations/opportunities, to resolve consumer issues, correct misinformation, and provide help to delight the online consumer. Also provide balance to online conversations to mitigate criticism. Be seen as a credible and knowledgeable in the category and the brand.
2. Be Proactive: proactively seed online conversation sharing knowledge beyond our brands of interest to consumers such as the latest scientific find, promotion, celebrity endorsement, to drive positive sentiment online about our brands, categories and P&G
3. Bring the Outside in:  Use relevant tools to track and measure level of engagement within the Social Media channel and prepare reports to be shared with the business
4. Identify Social Engagement Opportunities: Seek opportunities where we can gain perspective on current Social Media trends/consumer needs and liaise as part of b a multi-functional team. You will feedback current consumer feelings and sentiment linked to a topic, product, category or opportunities based on current trends/ insights back into P&G.

Job Qualification1:  

Proficient in Azeri and English languages. Builds diverse, collaborative relationships”. The role requires communication with consumers and key influencers. You must be able to adapt your communication style depending on the consumer, whilst still maintaining brand and corporate equity.

Job Qualification3:  

“In Touch”. Must be able to recognize key brand opportunities or issues and be able to act accordingly to alert CR manager and ER. Although guidance and support will be provided, must always act with a “do the right things” approach.

Job Qualification4:  

“Experienced user of on-line social networking tools.” Social Media savvy with experience of using social media to communicate and share information. Please list the networking tools such as Blogs / forums you use on a regular basis i.e. more than 5 times a week.
