Languages Required: English Azerbaijan Russian

Job title: Translator/interpreter

Duties and Responsibilities

• Translating assigned documents in timely manner and ensuring high quality standards;
• Translating/interpreting during meetings, events and other project and office related activities;
• Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained;
• Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for legal, technical, scientific and similar terminology and words used;
• Proofreading and editing final translated versions;
• Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process;
• Prioritizing work to meet deadlines;
• Consulting with experts in specialist areas;
• Perform other duties as requested.

Overall Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree;
• Excellent oral and written translation skills;
• Excellent creative and effective writing skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar position;
• Fluency in English, Azeri and Russian;
• Able to work independently;
• Good interpersonal relations
• Adherence to schedules and deadlines;
