Purpose:

Our geospatial startup in Baku is seeking a Business Development Specialist. This role involves not only outreach to various local businesses but also close collaboration with our internal project management and business teams.

Business Development Specialist Requirements:

  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, English. Russian is a plus. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience in business development or related field is a plus. 
  • Independent, adaptable, and able to navigate diverse business settings. 
  • Familiarity with geospatial technologies is a plus.

Business Development Specialist Responsibilities:

The Business development specialist performs the following operations:

Business Outreach: 

  • Visit and engage with businesses in retail, street retail, microfinance, real estate, HoReCa and more.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and understand how our geospatial solutions align with their needs. 

Internal Collaboration: 

  • Liaise with the project management team to relay customer feedback and market insights, pricing, contributing to project planning and execution. 
  • Work closely with the business development team to strategize on expanding our market presence and developing new business opportunities. 

Relationship Management: 

  • Build and sustain relationships with business owners and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure ongoing interest and satisfaction with our services through regular follow-ups. 

Market Analysis: 

  • Conduct market research during visits and report findings. 
  • Suggest product improvements based on local market needs.

Terms and Conditions:

  • 5/7 working days;
  • 09.00 a.m.-06.00 p.m. working hours (including 1 hour for lunch);
  • Fixed salary.
