Responsibilities:

• Completing a comprehensive detailed analysis of current projects
• Developing new potential ideas and testing through high and best use analysis  
• Prepare budgeting for Development Projects
• Completing design briefs and real estate product descriptions
• Completing development projects from land acquisition through approvals, construction and customer care on time and on budget
• Completing summary reports of each project for corporate and external reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• A minimum Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Commerce, and Masters of Business Administration or equivalent supplemented by training in construction, architecture, civil engineering and/or urban planning preferred.
• Preferable, at least 5 years of experience in the real estate industry completing number of successful real estate development projects.
• A comprehensive understanding of market analysis, development feasibility analysis, development management, approvals processes, design and construction codes, and construction through to sales and customer care
• A focused individual who is skilled at developing design briefs, real estate product descriptions, contract negotiations, managing consultants and the approvals process, as well as cost analysis
• A disciplined individual with a reputation as a team player, communicator and collaborator who knows how to get things done on time and within budget by managing a diverse interdisciplinary group of stakeholders varying from designers and architects to representatives of related governmental organizations. 
• A creative problem-solver who knows when to act independently yet consults the senior management team when necessary and well in advance of crisis situations with foresight and integrity
