The Mechanic/Field Technical Operator reports to the Operations Coordinator; he reports to the Field Supervisor when working in the field. Main tasks and responsibilities is providing technical service and maintenance support at locations. They are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment out in the field and providing technical training when necessary, according to the company rules and procedures. Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment;
  • On-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing;
  • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions;
  • Producing detailed service reports, as specified in the company procedures;
  • Work with Field Supervisors to learn to conduct QC checks and maintenance on products to ensure compliance with Client requirements;
  • Work with Field Supervisors to learn to conduct QC checks and maintenance on products to ensure compliance with internal QHSE / HSE standard in the field;
  • Provide support in the service optimization for Coiled Tubing and Pumping application within the Technical Operative Unit for Onshore/Offshore worldwide;
  • Provide feed-back from the field to better fit R&D project with client requirements;
  • Learn to manage the Smape Data Acquisition System development;
  • Find technical solution to meet Client requests;
  • Interface with other field engineers and local coordinators to provide field feed-back to improve the equipment development;
  • Participate in meeting with Clients to provide technical solutions if requested;
  • Support the crew in loading/unloading the equipment on/From the trucks;
  • Support the crew in rig up/down the equipment on field
  • Execute activities of ordinary' maintenance;

Qualifications and Requarements:

  • Solid and proved experience in equipment maintenance and repairing;
  • 1 year experience in offshore is desired.
  • Driving License Desired  
  • Traveling required (up to 70% of total working time)

  • Professioncy in technical English/Fluent communication
  • Possesion of Fast Learning skills
  • Ability to solve technical problems 
  • Highly motivated in continual self-development  
  • Ability to work in harsh (hot, snow, wind) weather conditions (this is onshore/offshore position)
