Job Description:
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor equipment usage and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote and enforce safe working practices within the service department.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for mechanics to enhance their awareness.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
Requirements and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or degree in a related field preferred).
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a mechanic in a service company, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and tools relevant to the industry.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively manage a team.
- Solid understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Additional information:
- Contract 1 year
- Salary – Negotiable
- Transport and lunch provided by the company
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, 5-day working week;
- The place of work is located at 22 km of the Salyan highway, Baku.
