Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns (with annexes), SSPF and Statistical reports;
• Prepare salary calculation tables (subject to calculation of salaries, vacation pay, final accounts, sick leaves) and pay salaries;
• Solve all tasks assigned by the management in a timely and accurate manner
• Control payments, control accounts and make payments through "internet banking"
• To compile daily and monthly reports on the work done 
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts, including the proper classification and documentation of transactions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain compliance with regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Review and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Chief Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
