Job title: Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Reports to: Deputy Managing Director

Supervises: Sales department & salesmen

Position purpose:

Making every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits. Keeping face-to-face contact with sales people and must stay current on financial data and inventory.

Key duties/responsibilities:

- Meet daily with salesmen; 
- Offer them the coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or information they need in order to help them meet their sales objectives.
- Plan, organize, direct and control your sales staff to meet these objectives;
- Use these to help your salespeople maximize their potential;
- At the beginning of each month, counsel with each salesperson to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan;
- Establish a sales objective for the department each month and submit it to the dealer;
- Achieve forecasted sales by following (and, if necessary, adjusting) your written plan of action;
- Monitor each salesperson’s daily performance and compare it with that month’s objective;
- Understand departmental financial data to determine what is happening in your department, Review financial data that affects your department’s profit centers;
- Make sure your salespeople are doing everything they should be doing to successfully sell your dealership’s products;
- Ensure that the showroom operations function smoothly;
- Recruiting, hiring qualified people for the department together with HR department and training them;
- Developing the most well trained, professional sales force possible;
- Assist your salespeople in selling and motivate them to perform well;
- Assist them in the selling process whenever needed.
- Although the office is in Baku, Sales Manager will spend at least 50% of his time out of office to visit existing and potential customers in Baku and in the regions.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 3-5 years sales management experience;
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to Sales Department operations;
- Familiar with Construction & equipment, and other competitive products;
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports;
- High level of communication and human relations;
- Foreign Passport.
