Key Accountabilities:

  • Support month end closing
  • Preparation of supporting agreements, databases, dashboards for IFRS reporting.
  • Support management reporting; monthly, quarterly, interim and annual reporting;
  • Preparation and Reviewing of Monthly Management Reports, Budgets and Forecasts of Group Companies.
  • Completion of day-to-day tax related tasks
  • Calculation of tax liabilities on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and also on a transactional basis
  • Preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly reports, as well as assistance in preparation of annual reports to the Ministry of Taxes
  • Arrangement for regular communication with the accounting department as well as other departments for performance of job duties
  • Performance of tax analysis of the accounting data for assigned entities and to ensure on acceptable level of their compliance with the statutory tax legislation.
  • Dealing with different financial and accounting issues.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related business disciplines preferable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting /tax/ accounting
  • Good knowledge of Azerbaijani and English languages
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel (high level), and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills: critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems
  • Extensive experience in audit
  • Knowledge of regulations and guidelines.
