Transport Economist 

(Bachelors Degree, 10 years experience in conducting economic analysis in the transport sector) will carry out, but will not be limited to, the following tasks, for all projects selected for financed under tranche 1:

• Review the economic justification for each proposed priority project, based on existing and forecasted economic development, urban development, relevant strategic plans for urban roads and public transport; assess the extent of further cost–benefit analysis required to appraise the economic opportunity;
• prepare cost-benefit assessment and economic analysis of each project, including demand analysis, identification of economic rationale and alternatives, and least-cost options;
• Estimate economic internal rate of return (EIRR), net present value (NPV), with sensitivity 
analysis and quantitative risk analysis; and
