Integrated Drilling and Well Services Management
SOCAR-AQS LLC is a fast growing, integrated drilling and well services provider. The company is expanding its activities in platform drilling offshore Azerbaijan.

The company is currently looking for highly-motivated, competent candidates, who display exemplary safety behaviour and the highest standards of work ethics, to fill the following vacancy:
Driller
The Driller is responsible for the deployment and guidance of the rig crew and the use of the rig equipment, in accordance with Company Mainantence System so as to safely and efficiently conduct the Operator's drilling program.
Key responsibilities:
• To demonstrate and promote safety leadership and to ensure that the crew works in the safest possible manner;
• To lead and direct the crew in fulfilling their designated duties;
• To monitor and adjust the drilling parameters and take those necessary actions so as to optimize the drilling process and safeguard the integrity of the well;
• To work constructively with the Operator's representative and with third party service companies so as to contribute to collaborative working relationships at the rig site;
• To take immediate remedial action in the event of an incipient or actual emergency or incident;
• To advise the Toolpusher and Operator's representative of any issues as appropriate;
• To operate the rig equipment within its designed parameters in a manner to optimize the drilling process and associated activities;
• To conduct visual, and where possible functional, inspections of equipment both prior to use and at periodic intervals;
• To supervise the Assistant Driller and Derrickman in control and recording of mud properties.
Required general qualifications of the candidate:
• Higher education;
• At least three years of experience in relevant area;
• Well Control Certificates at Drilling Fundamental level;
• Ambition to succeed;
• Ability to learn quickly and develop continuously;
• Excellent problem solving capabilities;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Multilingual (Azeri, English, Russian);
• Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
