Job Overview:

As a Python Developer at MigrationPro, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core functionality of our automated shopping cart migration service. Your strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and passion for learning will contribute to the continued success and growth of MigrationPro.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Salary: 1200 - 1500 azn, plus bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications and services that power our migration services
• Write optimized SQL queries and work with databases to ensure efficient data management
• Research, read, and understand API documentation to integrate third-party libraries
• Build and maintain APIs and REST services for seamless integration with eCommerce platforms
• Utilize test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality, reliable code
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Fix errors and bugs, research them, and propose optimal solutions

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Python development
• Strong Python fundamentals and understanding of best practices
• Experience developing optimized SQL queries and working with databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and find answers independently
• Experience building APIs and REST services, integrated with third-party libraries
• Understanding of distributed task queues with Celery
• Experience using test-driven development practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with eCommerce platforms
• Experience building web applications with Django
• Proficiency in writing documentation
• Familiarity with Docker, Git/Github
• Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
