The main duties of the successful candidate will be: 

  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with the planned time schedule
  • Assist the firm's clients in resolution of their inquiries
  • Tax return preparation for diverse client base in a wide range of industries
  • Calculate taxes and tax returns
  • Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
  • Proactively and positively interact with clients
  • Client accounting, including year-end closing for businesses, accounting projects and client assistance with tax and accounting matters
  • Assist clients with accounting, payroll and tax compliance
  • Prepare Financial Statements
  • Conduct Tax function reviews

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and complete multiple engagements within time constraints and deadlines
  • Maintenance of accurate records of time spent on each project
  • Meet the employer’s expectations and project deadlines
  • BA in Accounting or similar relevant field
  • 2-3 years of working experience in tax field
  • Good knowledge of national tax law
  • Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles, as well as International finance reporting standards
  • Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
  • Good communication, writing and time management skills
  • Experience with accounting software (1C, SAP, etc.)
  • Honesty, integrity and professional ethics
