What are expected from the candidate:

Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed;
Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries;
Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines;
Generate financial reports and statements to Management;
Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions;
Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management;
Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion;
Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed;
Participate in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts;
Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations;
Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial & management accounting, 1 year in a senior position (experience in HORECA is preferred);
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance;
Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel;
Working experience with accounting or ERP software;
Passed ACCA/CIMA exams and exemptions are advantage;
Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages are mandatory.
