Job responsibilities:

Routine tasks:

  • To ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Company and Client Procedures.
  • Carry out the offshore surveys required to establish initial data to initiate design/as built activities.
  • Report findings in a Offshore Design Survey Report and send to Project manager weekly.

General requirement for future:

  • Develop and prepare all necessary design drawings, job cards and commissioning documentation in association with the Lead Discipline Designer and Discipline engineer.
  • Assist in the preparation of all project related equipment and materials procurement documentation.
  • Carry out inspections as required of onshore procured materials and fabricated items.
  • Assist in the supervision of sub-contract installation personnel carrying out inspections, repairs and installation of process systems and structures, with regard to engineering projects.
  • Attend scheduled trainings
  • Share experience and knowledge with new employees
  • Submit regular reports as per requirements of appropriate work related procedures
  • Respect the confidentiality of work related information

Duties related to Occupational Safety:

  • Take reasonable care for your own safety and that of other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work;
  • Stop any unsafe work or action;
  • Learn, familiarize yourself and apply the requirements defined by relevant regulations for safety, hygiene, and fire protection 
  • Regularly improve occupational safety knowledge 
  • Comply with instructions given for your own safety and health and those of others and with safety and health procedures given by your employers, supervisors and experts on occupational safety. 
  • Inform management about job accidents, any emergencies or any violation of occupational safety regulations 
  • Perform work without jeopardizing your own life or that of others, to stay out of places where unauthorised employees are not allowed such as machinery operating rooms and explosive depots, and to refrain from working in certain other places where there may be a danger to life; 
  • Work in the special clothing and shoes, to follow and enforce safety regulations, standards and instructions and to use protective methods as stated in the individual or collective contracts
  • Use safety devices and protective equipment correctly and do not render them inoperative
  • Participate, if required by management in assessment of HSSE related risks 
  • Follow Technical Safety, Labour Protection, Fire Protection and Electrical Safety Rules
  • Inform management about usage of prescribed medicines which may affect the work ability.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Preferably 10 years, working with all types of E&I Drawings
  • Have a current Bossiet or be prepared to pass 1 and have a current medical certificate
  • Degree qualified / or good recognised qualification with 10 years experience
