Summary: 

As a key member of the Sales team Store Manager is responsible for the running and commercial performance of a retail store including buying, the day to day management of store and management of the employees. Main areas of work involve buying, reaching sales targets and increasing profits, dealing with customer service issues (Store Manager is required to maintain excellent customer service), sales staff management: Store Manager provides effective leadership of the retail team (motivating the team, coaching, training, etc.), problem solving and the reviewing the operations of the store in order to find solutions to problems and to optimize efficiency. The successful candidate must build a strong sales team while building customer relationships.

Job Description:

• Oversee store operations, supervise employees and manage inventory
• Develop successful sales plans to grow your store's profitability
• Selection and buying of the product
• Implement new product lines and create strategies to introduce and promote them to our customers
• Recruit, train, develop and motivate your employees
• Greet customers and provide assistance
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the store
• Take inventory
• Order groceries and supplies
• Check received stock against invoices
• Mark prices on stock
• Restock shelves
• Receive cash and provide correct change
• Operate cash register
• Balance cash receipts
• Record visa and debit accounts
• Print and record receipts
• Reconcile bank statements
• Keep track of customer credit
• Collect receivables

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience an asset 
•  Higher education, preferably in economic or management area 
•  PC competency in a Windows application with knowledge of Word, Excel and etc.
•  Ability to motivate employees to improve and maintain high levels of performance 
•  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines 
•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and time-management skills

•  Ability to resolve conflicts/problems independently within a changing environment 
•  Professional and enthusiastic team player, with a demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence 
•  Being able to business trips
