OCTG/ NDT General Helpers Assistants, Riggers, Banksman & 7 Ton Forklift Drivers

NOV Tuboscope is one of the leading inspection companies in the world and is looking for General helpers, Assistants, Riggers, Banksman & qualified Forklift Operators.

With at least 6 months to 12 months related experience, for the Onshore Inspection Division in Baku. The candidate should have a good background in Tubular, Drill Pipe & OCTG equipment inspections. Experience in similar fields would be entertained with some preference; however onsite inductions and trainings may be given as required.

The positions available are Permanent for in country Azerbaijani Nationals.

Preference for candidates possessing or having experience with some of the points below in the similar environment with the following as a minimum, but not essential will be considered.

Having experience:

1. To assist Inspection and Handling of Tubular with all aspects of OCTG Inspection per company & industry resources & standards and other duties  as directed/requested by Yard Supervisor or Inspector. One or more duties maybe modified or others added at the request of Operations Supervisor.
2. The candidate shall strive to perform his duties as defined in the Labour Code, Article 10 and the above-mentioned duties in a safe, timely and quality orientated environment.
3. If in the course of performing his job the candidates are encouraged to generate ideas and suggestions pertaining to the production process or its efficiency and is further encouraged to immediately share these with his employer.
4. Candidate has proven certification for Rigging work, Banksman work and 7 Ton Forklift handling experience. And has gained training with the use of Electrical / Mechanical cleaning machinery

Facility:

The facility boasts a robust 22,000m2 state of the art pipe storage yard, 3,500m2 undercover Inspection through shop and repair facility. FLUT-Ascan, typical BHA and black light inspection booths, Tooljointhardbanding plasma gouging and repair stations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Direct and daily assisting, preparing Tubular for Inspection & reporting to the Facility Inspection Supervisor and Inventory Controller.
• Comply with company HSE and corporate policies and procedures.
• Follow and comply with company standard operating and HSE procedures.
• Work in a safe manner & comply with company HSE policy and site rules.
• Assisting Inspector or Inventory coordinator of all day to day Tubular, Drill Pipe & BHA components, cleaning, tubular movements and general work activities.
• Adhere to and assist with the Inspector all Shop Order work schedules in the pipe yard to ensure all work is undertaken in a timely manner and per load out schedules Supervisors requirements.
• Ensure pipe is identified, racked and stowed to company instructions & standards.
• Assist Inspector with all post machine shop visual inspection on Tubular within the facility
• Maintain good housekeeping standards within the pipe yard and work sites

Company Requirements & Qualifications –Not Essential as training may be given.

• 6 months to 1 years OCTG experience in a yard or site environment ideally in a similar capacity.
• Competent and conversant in the use of all Electrical and specialized cleaning tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills Azeri /Russian/English essential.
• Excellent command of English, with Azeri/Russian languages.
• Ability to Work and coordinate efficiently under Experienced Supervision
• Understanding of OCTG & NDT inspection equipment and functions will be considered but not essential.
• Previous or current NDT qualifications, or extensive NDT experience is not essential. Though may be advantageous for future personal advancement within the company
