Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC is seeking an ACCOUNTANT for its Head Office.

Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit) helps develop the economy of Azerbaijan by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses and improve their economic situation. AzerCredit is one of the largest micro-credit organizations in Azerbaijan. As an employer, the company is investing in its human resources through contemporary trainings and providing excellent working atmosphere and building staff capacity in order to plant the seeds of more successful future. AzerCredit is currently seeking an Accountant for its Head Office. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Controls and review accounting transactions of all branches;
• Records daily accounting transactions of Head Office;
• Proceeds with all bank/cash operations;
• Controls the Petty Cash operations;
• Prepares the Bank Reconciliation and Cash Count for Head Office;
• Prepares State Statistical Reports;
• Keeps record for fixed assets and calculate monthly depreciation;
• Prepares various reports to international partners;
• Participates in budgeting process;
• Takes part in preparation of tax report by supporting necessary information to Chief Accountant;
• Travels to regions when required;
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level;

Successful candidates should meet the following criteria; qualifications, knowledge and technical skills:

• University degree in economics/finance/accounting;
• At least 2 years relevant experience, preferably in micro-credit or other financial institutions;
• Fluency in Azeri language, intermediate level in English;
• Knowledge of IFRS, applicable tax, accounting legislation, internal standard acts, policies and procedures on accounting;
• Knowledge of accounting software is strongly preferred;
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications;
• Good communication, commitment, efficiency, flexibility skills when performing the duties;
• Creative, proactive and talented at task performance, communicating and planning independently
• Good attitude and respectful manner towards the staffs
