Job Description

Position Title:

HR Manager Department:

ACC REPORTING TO:

Regional Director & Accounts Manager

1.  OBJECTIVES:

• Overall responsibility to the smooth running of the HR Department.
• Manage HR Records.
• Communicate with senior management of any changes in labour codes / legislation
• Coordinate with accounts department that all monthly salaries are correct.

2.  ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Carry out responsibilities in accordance and compliance with company procedures and relevant work instructions.
• Performing all HR work of the company:
• To work according Azerbaijan Labor Code
• To be aware of company’s quality, safety and environmental policy
• Develop, review, implement, and update applicant tracking, employment practices, compensation, benefits, and human resources programs and methods on a regular basis.
• To work with Head of Depts to create a valid Job Descriptions
• Manage and approve employment contracts.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures and employee handbook.
• Maintain Personnel Files for each employee
• Develop internal communication strategies and processes to keep projects, programs, and/or departments informed on critical issues, policies and procedures (Issuing of HR Memos, Procedures etc).
• Organize & keep updated CV  files
• Prepare internal orders and file them
• Update and file “Personnel daily attendance register”
• Prepare Vacation Tally sheet and keep it updated throughout the year
• Organize medical examinations for all personnel and have schedule for the re checks
• Develop & Update Organization Chart
• Update next of kin every 6 months
• Prepare written warnings
• Organize trainings and keep schedule of trainings
• Carry out recruitment process
• Interview employees and keep relevant records
• Carry out HR Induction for new employees
• Organize Evaluation for personnel every 6 months
• Issue badges and keep records of this procedure
• Register employees’ timesheets and input them in computer
• Maintain Job Book and update it regularly
• Update and maintain personnel files, and holiday requests.
• Share knowledge, skills and experience with new staff. Provide guidance and overall supervision. Conduct and keep record of on-job trainings and toolbox talks.
• Actively participate in departmental and inter company meetings.  Take minutes of the meetings (if requested).
• Additional tasks as requested.
• To maintain total confidentiality.

3.  QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be honest
• At least one year in similar role
• Excellent written and spoken English, Russian, Azeri.
• Computer literacy - competency in MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook are essential.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Good communication skills, tactful and persuasive.
• Accurate, organized, practical and realistic.
• Strong organizational ability.
• Motivated personality, ambitious to learn about business.
• Responsible and able to make day-to-day decisions independently.
• Ability to work odd hours and overtime if required.
