Entry Level Tax Consultant to Tax Compliance Team

Work you will do:

• Provide accounting/bookkeeping services to clients including but not limited to the tasks below:  
• Processing and assisting with payables and receivables;
• Managing fixed assets registers;
• Managing and processing salary and payment transactions;
• Analyzing accounting records; 
• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
• Calculate tax liabilities of clients
• Identifying tax risks in the course of tax compliance projects
• Preparation and filing tax returns and other mandatory reports to the state authorities;
• Assistance in preparation of accounting policies and procedures of the clients;
• Liaising with the tax authorities, participation in tax audits of the clients.
• Payroll calculation
• Preparation of internal reports for clients, where necessary
• Regular communication with clients to address their questions relating to accounting/tax matters
• Fulfil other related tasks assigned by managers or partner

Qualifications:

Required:

• University degree in Economics/Management/Finance/Accounting
• Advanced written and spoken Azerbaijani and English
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications 
• Ability to work in a team
• High commitment to work
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to determine causes and produce effective solutions 
• Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and dynamic conditions

Additional advantages:

• Experience with a Big Four or Azerbaijani accounting services organization 
• Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP
• Having ACCA papers passed 
• Good written and spoken Russian.
