Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Administration:

  • Provide support to employees by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues with hardware, software, and computers in general;
  • Register and follow-up request progress in IT ticketing systems; 
  • Liaise with IT support team members to ensure effective and efficient resolution of issues; 
  • Enhance the Firm’s helpdesk practice by eliminating deficiencies; 
  • Raise awareness of employees related to IT process and procedures adopted by the Firm.

IT Administration:

  • Act as the Firm’s regular point of contact for outsourced IT service and SaaS providers; 
  • Monitor IT infrastructure as and when necessary, including administration of onsite copiers, printers and telephones;
  • Maintain an up-to-date register of IT assets, including but not limited to IT equipment, software, licences, users, workstations, communication lines, etc.; 
  • Maintain an up-to-date register of the Firm’s critical systems and processes;   
  • Carry out all necessary tasks with respect to employee onboarding and offboarding from IT perspective; 
  • Carry out market research of software and hardware solutions with respect to both upgrades and new acquisitions; 
  • Carry out regular IT risk assessment for new and on-going projects;
  • Carry out regular check of the Firm’s IT capacity to ensure its IT infrastructure changes with operational and business requirements;     
  • Assist with drafting and execution of IT policies and/or IT-related sections of any other policies.

Compliance:

  • Ensure the Firm’s compliance with IT controls issued by the Head Office;
  • Assist with implementation of the frameworks co-related with IT, such as information security management system, quality control management system and others;
  • Assist during internal and external audit of the Firm’s IT infrastructure.

Duties:

  • Ensure alignment of operations with corporate policies and procedures;
  • Represent BDO in a professional manner through punctuality & appearance;
  • Apply honesty, integrity and objectiveness while on duty;
  • Meet set deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, math, or similar field;
  • At least two years' experience in system administration or related role;
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Result orientation, attention to detail and perfectionist mindset;
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with IT and non-IT personnel;
  • Intermediate level of English and good knowledge of Russian;
  • Good communication, writing and time management skills;
  • Honesty, integrity and professional ethics.
