Junior Tax Specialist

Main duties: 

  • Assisting in preparing and declaring monthly VAT, quarterly SSPF, WHT, Statistics
  • Downloading information about offsetable tax e-notes into tax system
  • Preparing initial information about imported goods based on requirement of Tax Legislation
  • Regularly checking tax letters received from tax authorities
  • Assisting in preparing letters to tax authorities
  • Reconciling of cash sales between accounting database and tax cash register
  • Providing finance team by tax balance figure 
  • Participating in preparation of initial tax analysis based on case fact and applicable legislation
  • Sharing responsibility, providing support and work efficiently as a team member
  • Performing other tasks given from Tax Team Lead
  • To assist Finance Team Leader with financial tasks as per ad-hoc requests  

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in mentioned field 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
  • Problem solving
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good knowledge of English language is an advantage 
  • Good knowledge of Tax Code of Azerbaijan;
