Reviewing project specifications, drawings, method statement and Quality Control plans/procedures
Preparation of the Inspection Test Plan for the scope of work and have it approved by the client
Create, update and maintain the project all type of documentation log and all other projects specific quality control reports
Check the completeness and conformity to specified applicable requirements, standards and/or directives
Supervise and witness inspections, check reports and documentation and collect and file the required Quality Records
Ensure that all sites’ activities are carried out according to reference documentation within his area of responsibility, authorizing their acceptance at quality control completion
Cooperate and implementation of relative corrective actions, NCR, SOR, etc. Systematically records the nonconformity or event reports issued and identify appropriate corrective actions
Ensure that the tests, controls, and inspections are carried out and that personnel have access to all required project documentation
Coordinate and document the testing and commissioning of building systems
Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect the quality and/or inhibit the logical progress of work
Compile the final project turnovers and submission to client approval.
Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranties
Manage collaboration of measurement instruments and related certifications
Doing inspections and preparing snag lists of new upcoming and ongoing projects.
Any other project QA/QC duties as advised from time to time
Essential Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Essential Criteria:
Good planning skills
Minimum 8 years’ experience in mechanical, construction, and/or maintenance sector
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
Good knowledge of English language
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent knowledge in MEP, construction and/or maintenance sector.
Desirable Criteria:
Good technical knowledge of construction works
Good knowledge of international standards such as NFPA, ASHRAE BS, IBC, ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.
Carrier HAP knowledge would be an advantage
Good technical knowledge of heating-cooling and related flushing and balancing activities. Ventilation and air balancing, smoke extraction, firefighting, FM200, domestic waste water and rain water, natural gas distribution and BMS systems and ability to create test procedures for them
Able to do witness of testing commissioning works of upcoming new building projects,
Able to do handover process and create handover snagging list
Good organizing skills, communication and interpersonal skills, flexible, work ethics, attention to detail and reliable.
