The global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry declares job vacancies to the following position:
Job Title: Planning Engineer
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Main Function: To provide planning service to cover all onshore & offshore work.

Main Duties:

To co-ordinate the planning and scheduling of all asset work activities in conjunction with Operations/Maint Co-ordinators and Operations/Maint Managers to ensure optimisation of resources and timely completion of any maintenance, modification, project, drilling & wells programmes and shutdowns where the scope is required in line with the Maximo Maintenance management system.
This service consists of planning all the inspection activities necessary to maintain and enhance the platform operability.
These activities are co-ordinated on a site/platform basis by the Planning Engineer who would be required to create and maintain a suite of reports to include, but not be limited to: Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly and 5 Yearly MTIS (Medium Term Inspection Schemes) look ahead Plans and be able to prepare and distribute manning forecasts and progress updates for all Inspection work activities.
The individual site/platform plans are combined to provide a field perspective and assist in decision making across the various site/platforms.
Previous experience of asset planning and shutdown planning is required. Candidates must also be conversant with Microsoft Project with a working knowledge of Primavera and be prepared and able to visit offshore, if required. Having Maximo experience would be an advantage.

Other Duties:

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget forecasts
Advising and attributing man hours to work orders (I.e. Internal Vessel Inspections)
Attend planning meetings as required.
Maintain a close relationship with Fabric Maintenance contractor on all known scaffolding and insulation removal requirements.
Monitoring of inspection progress both onshore & offshore.
Interface with Contractors planning functions and Maintenance Management systems.
Undertake other duties as required by the Management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

University degree in Engineering, Economics or related discipline
At least 5 years experience in planning engineering.
Proficiency in English and Azeri
Good Communication Skills
A Team Player
Ability to act independently and proactively
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Project with a working knowledge of P6 Primavera.
Having Maximo experience would be an advantage.
