Position: Group CFO

 POSITION SUMMARY

Provide ownership to the Group finance activities, from managing processes and reporting to analysis, strategic financial decision making, to investment analysis and treasury management. Overlooking related activities such as tax management and control

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

i. Part of Leadership and Senior Management Team of the Group.

ii. Assist in M&A Activities and Investment decision for the Group.

iii. Responsible for Managing all the financial activities listed below with the assistance of a Senior Finance Manager

iv. Develop and oversee timeliness and accuracy of financial statements of the group companies, prepared by respective accountants, including Monthly MIS and analysis.

v. Monitoring the timeliness and review of the internal audit process.

vi. Operational Systems and Processes
a. Receivables (outstanding) monitoring and control process across the group
b. Payables monitoring and control processes across the group
c. Cash flow Monitoring and Control
d. Inventory Monitoring, Control and Valuation
e. Expense Approvals processes and control systems
f. Ensure Correct and timely financial information flow from ERP system
g. Vendor Management- Monitoring Payment Terms and Advances etc

vii. Financial Planning
a. Preparation of Expense Budget Preparation and Monitoring on regular basis
b. Analysis of intercompany transaction and transfer pricing control
c. Capital expenditure planning and control
d. Asset Tracking and Valuation

viii. External Interface
a. Bank Interface / communication at the corporate level
b. Dealing with Sales Tax and Excise Authorities
c. Insurance Claim Follow Ups and monitoring

ix. Team Management
a. HR Review of all accounts departments
b. Resources Allocation and optimization
c. Resources Additions, development and training

x. Investment Management
a. Treasury Management- through various investment channels
b. Valuation and other strategic evaluation of acquisition / new business opportunities
c. Financial business plan analysis of new opportunities

xi. Related Activities
a. Overall Tax Management and Compliances of the group
b. Loan, Bank Guarantees, and refund Cases Monitoring

SUGGESTED MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Incumbent should have had the required experience in leading accounts and finance teams for at least 5 years. Should be either CA/ MBA/ similar qualification with the following knowledge sets

I. Working Knowledge of all tax related matters , income , excise, sales , service etc
II. Excellent control and knowledge of P&L. Balance sheet , and other financial statements
III. Good working knowledge of audit processes
IV. Knowledge of Enterprise Valuation
V. Overall view on the Indian and global economy and investment opportunities
VI. Working knowledge of secretarial compliance
VII. Key Managerial Skills : "Inspirational Leadership", "Effective Supervision", "Employee Engagement".
VIII. Key Behavioral Skills : Innovation, Teamwork and Good Communication.

SUGGESTED PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Advance degree in accounting or finance (ACCA/CPA/CFA)
II. 5 or more years of work experience in a business or accounting office
III. Demonstrated ability to perform high level financial analysis, multi-year projections, and statistical analyses.
