Responsibilities:

• Leads the ideation of store design from concept to detailed design stage in accordance with the company's design philosophy. Design solutions may span across various real estate formats including but not limited to interior sites, facades, existing store renovations and alternative store formats;
• Creates a range of relevant, innovative design solutions in response to changing timelines, project and workload demands while meeting aesthetic expectations and operational requirements;
• Develops and produces schematic plans, visual design packages, sketches, details and design intent drawing packages, materials specifications and schedules to support the execution of store designs that clearly communicate the design direction to peers and leadership;
• Presents and shares knowledge of materials, construction methods, detailing, best practices in architectural design, interior fit-outs, lighting and acoustics with clear, logical and understandable verbal narrative as well as visual presentation materials;
• Produces design documents to the expected quality standard to successfully execute the intended design concept;
• Prioritizes tasks and responsibilities in order to execute multiple projects at any given time.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of design experience in retail with design/architecture firms or as in-house designers;
• Demonstrated direct experience creating interior and architectural design concepts for a range of project sizes and varying complexity levels;
• Relevant architecture/interior design education qualifications at qualified institutions;
• Demonstrated application of industry trends, building and health codes, 3D visualization skills, and understanding of color and design principles;
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D software;
• Ability to execute multiple designs projects under tight deadlines;
• Written skills in Russian and English.
