Maintenance Group Supervisor
Key accountabilities:
• Responsible for the short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the engineering division
• Develop, implement and manage emergency programs for the operation and maintenance of all equipment and physical structures and landscaping in compliance with standards, local/national codes and regulations to protect the asset, guests and employees, to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Has the duty to oversee the process of the development of the budget so needs to implement approved engineering budgets and monitor actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets.
• Recommends the department's budget and capital expenditures and manages expenses within approved budget constrain
• Has to work for the best business deals so needs to negotiate with 3rd party engineering suppliers and other clients as well.
• Present the engineering plans, progress status updates and stationers to company management.
• Needs to perform the administrative tasks such as approving proposals, expenditures, enforcing policies and hiring and firing of engineers.
Key relationships:
Internal: Human Resources, Engineers, Accounting, Housekeeping and Client Offices.
External: Tenants/guests/visitors, other vendors/suppliers, contractors
Required skills/experience:
• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering, considerable working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Have good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate people.
• Graduate from University of Architecture and Construction (MEP engineering) or State Oil Academy
• Experience required by position is from 3 to 5 years of employment in a related position with hotel industry or real estate projects.
• Have graduated from University of Architecture and Construction (mechanical engineering)
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel) and be conversant with MS Outlook.
Salary: 1500 – 1800 AZN
