Essential

Assist Management in completion of Company’s activities in certain region, including the following: -

• Set up and maintain the logistics/customs related filing systems
• Arrange for incoming personnel to be met at the airport / helicopter station and transported to their destination in Azerbaijan
• In country personnel movement. To liaise with Client’s related department for arranging Company personnel’s trip to offshore and onshore
• Make hotel reservations and dealing with the accommodation requirements issue of Company personnel
• Gather & collate logistics documents, declaration of assets & liabilities forms and maintain filing system for them
• Import/export of company equipment
• Keep tracking of temporary imported equipment/items to company name and extend their regime if required by the project management
• Arrange in country movement of company equipment, arrange their expediting to offshore rigs
• Coordinate company/hired drivers & vehicles
• Warehouse management & update of stores list
• Undertake any other duties of reasonable nature as required

Non-essential

• The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post
• Assist with any other duties as and when required
• Undertake specific projects as instructed by management

Safety

Other:

• Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
• Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
• Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Required

• Minimum Standard Grades education (E)

Desired

• A post graduate qualification such as a MSc (P)
• Be committed to developing towards gaining and maintaining UK chartered status and corporate membership of a relevant institution (P)

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

• Ability to communicate well in English both orally and in writing (E)
• 4 to 5 years of previous experience within Logistics related Operational environment (P)
• Excel(E)
• Word (E)
• PowerPoint(E)
• Good team player (E)
• Good communicator both written and verbal (E)

Working Conditions:

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
• Work surface is stable (flat)
